The Federal Agency for Tourism provides the following public services:
- Informing tour operators, travel agents and tourists (excursionists) about the threat to the safety of tourists (excursionists) in the country (place) of temporary stay
- Formation and conduct of the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators
- Authorization of tourism activities related to the use of foreign tourist vessels
- Issuing conclusions on the quality conformance of vital public service for the organization of excursion programs or for tourist and information services provided by non-profit organizations with established criteria
